Note: This page is a general starting template based on how NipunAI works — including that we don't sell or share your data with third parties, and that we use learning data to train and improve our AI.

1. Introduction

At NipunAI, built by Rudrayamx, your trust matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our AI-powered learning platform, how we use it — including to power and improve Sarthi, your AI mentor — and the choices you have. By creating an account or using NipunAI, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account information — your first and last name, email address, mobile number, and password (stored securely in hashed form, never in plain text).
  • Learning information — the skills you want to learn, your stated goals, current level, weekly time commitment, learning style preferences, your conversations with Sarthi, module progress, and exercise scores.
  • Usage information — pages and features you interact with, device and browser type, IP address, and similar log data, which helps us keep the Platform secure and improve it.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide the core service — so Sarthi can understand you, build your personalised roadmap, teach modules with relevant examples, and assess your progress.
  • To improve and train our AI models — see Section 5 below for more detail on this.
  • To communicate with you — account confirmations, learning reminders, and important updates about the Platform.
  • To maintain security — to detect and prevent misuse, fraud, or unauthorised access to accounts.

4. We Don't Sell or Share Your Data with Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing or advertising purposes. Your conversations with Sarthi and your learning data stay within NipunAI's systems and are used solely to operate and improve the Platform for you and future learners.

Where we use third-party infrastructure providers — such as cloud hosting services to run our servers and store data securely — those providers act only on our instructions, under confidentiality obligations, and do not use your data for their own purposes.

5. Using Your Data to Train Our AI

In short: the conversations and learning data you generate help Sarthi get better — for you and for everyone who learns on NipunAI after you.

A core part of how NipunAI improves is by learning from real conversations and real learning outcomes. This means data such as your messages to Sarthi, the questions you ask, how Sarthi explains things, your exercise results, and how you respond to different teaching styles may be used to train and refine our AI models.

Wherever possible, this data is used in de-identified or aggregated form for model improvement. This training is what allows Sarthi to get better at explaining concepts clearly, asking the right follow-up questions, recognising when a learner is struggling, and adapting to different kinds of learners — including you.

6. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure with access restricted to authorised personnel only. We use industry-standard measures such as encryption in transit and access controls to protect your information. We retain your account and learning data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, or improve our AI models in de-identified form.

7. Your Rights

Depending on applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you;
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • Request deletion of your account and associated personal data; and
  • Withdraw consent for non-essential data uses, where applicable.

You can exercise these rights by contacting us using the details in Section 11. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

8. Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the Platform is used so we can improve it. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work correctly if cookies are disabled.

9. Children's Privacy

NipunAI is intended for users aged 13 and above. If you are under 18, you should use the Platform with the involvement of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when this Policy was last revised. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
